"You have the power to create positive change"

Self Reflection is Essential!

When we talk about having an inclusive workplace environment, many words are thrown out there to make you feel intimidated. But that's not what the process is about. When I'm working with my business clients, my biggest push for them is to find ways of holding themselves accountable and find ways of sustaining this protocol when we move forward.

I was in the cultural competency training you did for BCL on Friday. Just wanted to thank you for your work and for sharing such important information with us. I ‘retired’ from dancing professionally in June and just started my Masters in Social work program a few weeks ago. “Your training was a fantastic reminder of so many things”, one of which being that good intent can still cause harm and that we should constantly be checking in with ourselves regarding implicit biases and being actively inclusive, accepting and respectful of all in both our personal and professional lives. I know I’ll be reflecting on your training for the next years as I complete my degree. Thank you!!! “B.P”

I had the pleasure of taking a cultural inclusion training with Jebeh. Her approach was fun, engaging, and full of learning opportunities. She provided clear ways we could take steps to make our workplace more inclusive. It was so helpful to hear Jebeh’s perspective and life experiences tied into the curriculum.
